Seasons of Wisdom

Wisdom,

I think,

is born of the time of silence and perspective. When we are out of the emotional mixing bowl and standing on the rim, we have the sense of discernment and appreciation.

In these times when things are changing and manifesting we must check in and listen to our heart. Whether it’s getting outside and walking on our favorite road, lingering along the wooded paths, or sipping ice coffee and relishing the heat of summer we’ve been longing for since cold March…remember what you asked for…you are certain to be experiencing it now. And if you want to make a change, change your mind.

And these words help us celebrate the Summer Solstice; these words from a dear friend are gifts to us all

Speaking of wisdom, I love that “wisdom” is refered to in the bible as  a feminine principle.  With the summer solstice in our hearts today, I am reminded of how we have connected the masculine (Father’s Day) and the feminine (the lush green goddess that the solstice so beautifully portrays, certainly a sign of wisdom to soothe our feminine hearts).

In Proverbs 8.22 – 8.31, Wisdom speaks of her place in God’s heart and mind, delighting in her power and shared responsibility in the creation of heaven and earth.

”And there I was beside him, like a master worker; and I was daily his delight, rejoicing before him always, rejoicing in his inhabited world, and delighting in the human race.”

A gift for you from the Goddess on the Solstice…from our Mother Earth …from Mary….

 Thank you friend,
Happiness, Joy and Laughter.
